Granola
Ingredients
- 1/3 cupLight Brown Sugar
- 1/3 cupMaple Syrup
- 1/2 tspSalt
- 4 tspVanilla Extract
- 1/2 cupVegetable Oil
- 5 cupsOld Fashioned Rolled Oats
- 2 cupsWhole Raw Almonds, chopped
- 3 TBSPFlaxseed meal
Directions
- Adjust oven to upper-middle position.
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- Line rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In large bowl, whisk together maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Whisk in the vegetable oil really well.
- Add oats, almonds, and flaxsed and mix together with rubber spatula.
- Spread oat mixture on baking sheet. Compress oat mixture very well.
- Bake until lightly browned, about 40 minutes, rotating the sheet halfway through baking.
