French Silk Pie

  1. Bake pie crusts as directed.
  2. Melt 6 oz chocolate in pan. Cool, but don't let it harden.
  3. Beat butter in bowl until fluffy.
  4. Gradually add sugar. Should remain fluffy.
  5. Pour in kinda cool chocolate and vanilla. Beat so it's fluffy.
  6. Add eggs one at a time. Beat on high.
  7. Keep beating until no sugar crystals remain.
  8. Pour in pie crust
  9. Beat heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla on high.
  10. Spread whipped cream over pie filling.
  11. Chop 2 oz chocolate.
  12. Melt other two bars with chopped chocolate. Let cool slightly.
  13. Pour onto sheet pan. Cool.
  14. Use a cheese slicer to make chocolate curls. Place on whipped cream.
