French Silk Pie
Ingredients
- 2Pie Crust
- 8 ozUnsweetened Chocolate
- 4 sticksButter, Softened
- 2 cupsSugar
- 1 tspVanilla
- 8Eggs
- 1 pintHeavy Cream
- 1/2 cupSugar
- 1/2 tspVanilla
- 1 canReddi-Whip
- 2 ozUnsweetened Chocolate
- 2 barsDark chocolate
Directions
- Bake pie crusts as directed.
- Melt 6 oz chocolate in pan. Cool, but don't let it harden.
- Beat butter in bowl until fluffy.
- Gradually add sugar. Should remain fluffy.
- Pour in kinda cool chocolate and vanilla. Beat so it's fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time. Beat on high.
- Keep beating until no sugar crystals remain.
- Pour in pie crust
- Beat heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla on high.
- Spread whipped cream over pie filling.
- Chop 2 oz chocolate.
- Melt other two bars with chopped chocolate. Let cool slightly.
- Pour onto sheet pan. Cool.
- Use a cheese slicer to make chocolate curls. Place on whipped cream.
